We leave Thursday for Aruba which is awesome. I've been on a slight heater this past 7-8 days +6200.00 on Full Tilt which is nice. I lost a bunch sportsbetting, but meh, that is streaky as well. Thanks Seaner for the guaranteed Cowboys and Over dumb bitch lol.
Still wasting money on tournaments and cant cash a thing obv. I swear if I didn't play a tourney in the last 3 months, I'd have like 50K more to my name. sigh...

shortupdate i guess.
My tourney game sucks balls. Can't win a flip when it matters and bustoed AA vs KK in the brawl then AA vs. 55 in the 100K all in preflop obv. We leave for Aruba in 9 days which is exciting. I've been dreaming about how I'm going to hold my bricks of cash in the air and if I'll cry or not when I win. lol
My online game has been so up and down lately it's sickening. I'll win a few grand then move up and get coolered or cold decked then move back down grind it back and rinse and repeat the process over and over again. It's quite frustrating to say the least. I might be going to work for my brother to help his company out. It's what I was doing before + the money would be better and we'd be keeping it in the family and this whole "pro" thing has been more difficult than I ever though imaginable.
I read Rizen, PearlJammer and Apestyle's book the other day about winning tourneys and it was pretty good. It talks about pot control and bubble play and stuff. Watching the WSOP on TV makes me think I am too tight of a player online in tourneys. I see then opening like K10off and Antonius defending super light from the blinds. Nothing seems to be working though right now with my tourney game. A few mincashes here and there, but overall my ROI is definitely in the negatives over the last 2-3 months. Oh well. Hope everyone else is running better than me.
Oh yeah i went on a cruise that was supposed to go to the Keys and Mexico, but due to hurricane ike we diverted to the Bahamas instead. It was just okay. I went with my brother and 3 good friends. Basically it was a liver destroying drunkfest every night with degen blackjack and craps (both rigged obv) and then wake up and do it again. Very awesome though. My friend Mike was the only single one on the cruise and he was telling everyone he's a greeter at Walmart even though he's a firefighter and the girls just ate it up. It was hilarious. Anyway, that's all for now. Time to get ready for softball.

gross
after getting back some money, I lost like 7k yesterday running like absolute garbage. I got pissed and withdrew a bunch of money which is what I always do so I don't tilt it away. I am supposed to go down to Miami today/tomorrow to cruise to the Keys and Mexico with some friends, but the Hurricane is headed straight for those areas. We are going to drive down to Miami in just a bit here and get a hotel and just see what happens. They will probably just divert the cruise to the Bahamas which is okay with me I guess....

weekend review/other randomness
i went back to HU and also playing some HU Razz cause people suck at razz too and I'm actually +5500.00 over the last 4-5 days just playing 1/2NL HU and some 2/4, 3/6 razz. I've put in a ton of hands lately and i'm pleased with the results, so I'll probably move back up to see if I can recover more money at a faster rate. I really wanted to make like 15-20K before Aruba for a juicy cash games that are going to be there since donkament players have no idea how to play deep cash. I had to buy a new f-in laptop because my Dell Inspiron took a shit. the fan broke inside of it and Dell said like 3 weeks to ship the part, so I just bought a new HP for like 1K from best buy. sigh... it's a sweet laptop though.
Anyway, today is labor day and i'm home by myself. My wife went to Disney with her sister and 2 hot friends that stayed over last night. They were all drinking wine and talking about vaginas all night. It was great lol. I leave for my "guys" cruise next Monday which should be pretty fun. 4 days away to the Keys and Mexico with some good poker buddies and my brother. They have pokerpro electronic machine on the boat some hopefully some donkeys will be in the donating mode. I bubbled the 750K yesterday KK vs. KJ all in pre which is always nice. I chipped up to 30K or so then lost a big pot when a guy checkraised me all in when I had AA, then I got disconnected. It was so frustrating. :o( I went deep in the UB200K, but lost half my stack AK vs. QK, then reshoved QKs into KK in a pretty standard resteal spot to finish like 40th for 700.00 or something small.

finally ran some numbers
and it makes me want to throw up. :o( I'm stuck 38 thousand dollars over the last 2 months. I've dropped down in stakes and switched back to 6 max after watching some DC training vids. I really don't know how they get cheaper insurance and stuff because they are just awful drivers. all of them. She said he was nice and didn't issue a ticket, however they have to file it with FHP so we'll have to file a claim with insurance which means sky high insurance rates. booo to that....

I really don't know what to do
I'm frustrated and disappointed beyond belief. I quit my job with a comfortable bankroll of almost 100K and it's been cut in half. I've reviewed hands, watched training videos, discussed hands with friends, but the cards just aren't going my way. I'm sad, mad, upset, disappointed, all at the same time and it honestly makes me want to cash out everything and just throw in the towel. I just can't win anymore and the life of baller purchases, hundred dollar bar tabs, fancy restaurants, vacations, etc... seem to be coming to an end. I don't know what to do, but if this keeps up, I'll be broke.
