Finally got a real blog!

Well, a lot my friends were telling me to create a real blog so here it is suckas! My old blog or rather random thoughts can be found on www.myspace.com/xpeoplemoverx It's mainly used for the ups and downs of online poker. This game can really affect your health and well being. It makes you happy, sad, super emotional, mad, angry, confused, misunderstood all at the same time. Of course there's some luck involved and a lot of variance, but the better players will always come out on top because they are getting their money in with the best of it when it matters.

I think this new blogger thing will be good to keep track of cash games & tournaments and my ROI (Return on Investment) and if playing tournaments is even worth my time. There are super addicting though because the drive to get all the chips is just awesome. Plus you can turn a small buy in into a huge score. I've had (2) 5 figure cashes and hope to have more sometime soon. Luck has certainly not been on my side lately in the big Sunday tournaments though. I've spent thousands on satellites and direct buy ins going for the big scores (1st is usually at least 25K and in some as high as 250K), but I seem to lose the races early in the the tourneys where it's important to accumulate the chips to absorb the beats when they do get you late down the stretch.

After a terrible downswing this weekend, I'm going to start May with a fresh look. Speaking with my wife to be Crystal who is always super supportive, she said my attitude sucks and my game has really been off lately because she'll watch for a big while I'm 6 or 7 tabling and listen to me just spew the money away or make calls that I shouldn't make when I know I'm beat, but paying for information. I'm going to try and be more focused and really try to build the bankroll and move up in limits.

So, I'm going to take 5K as my starter on Bodog and 5K on Full Tilt and move up as soon as I hit 20 buy ins on each. I hope to reach 5/10NL by the end of the year. The biggest addiction or rather hardest part will be avoiding tournaments that I love to play. Those can certainly boost the bankroll. I'll try to update as much as possible as far as amount of time played/profit.

Thanks for your support. :o)
