Ran so bad Friday/Saturday - dropped like 3.3K. I don't even feel like blogging about it.

edit: ok it's later in the day and I feel better about it now, so we went to Hard Rock on Sunday and they have 1/2NL and 2/5NL but it's 100.00 max buy in. I turn it into like $720.00 because people play like shit there and my bro goes down 500.00 quickly, but grinds it back up to 1100.00 good for a nice 1K profit between us in about 7 hours or so. Not too bad! Got rockedonline though, partly playing drunk, partly bad and partly trying out new moves like river c/r all in bluffs. Some worked but most did not because people just never fold when they should. oh well.

Good news & a big bluff

Just read that the government finally came to terms with neteller and they will be returning all of the US citizen funds that were seized during investigation of money laundering, etc...and payments are to be issued beginning 7/30/07!! I have some friends that have >$10K in there. I only have 3K stuck in there since January, but it'll be great to get this money that I almost just wrote off! WOOT! Had a weird session last night. Was 7 tabling some lower stakes and doing pretty good then some buddies wanted to donk it up in a 6 max game 100NL so I bluffed off a stack to Lyrikz who never folds. You just can't bluff people who won't fold!!! However, you can bluff better players are actually can lay down a hand. Here's to a monster weekend. cheers.

Nice recovery!

Got home around 5:30 or so and helped the wife paint our guest room. Had some downtime and fired up 7 tables and made 800.00 in about 2 hours. My bro came over to hang out and I've been trying to teach him how to play, but he really just sucks. He gets his money in bad and chases a lot, bets without reason, etc... It's really amazing how much there is to learn with this simple card game.

Worst Day in a while

Dropped 5 buy ins playing heads up last night. I started 2 buy ins up on this clown, then he stacked me for a big pot when I had A4 on a A4K flop vs his AJ, river K obv to counterfeit my hand. Then I tilted a little and blew through a bunch of money. Oh well, I'll grind it back though. I always do. :o)

Weddings & Fake tits

Congrats Andy on your marriage! Married life is great and you have a hot ass wife and MOM, damn bro! She's smokin' even after 9 kids, wtf!?!? Anyway, never seen so many sets of fake tits at one wedding before. Good times though and I wish you and Jessica the best. Have fun in Costa Rica.

Went fishing in Homasassa Friday/Saturday and caught a few fish and 2 sharks. My boss hooked a 5' tarpon and fought it for an hour before it broke him off. :o(

Didn't play much this weekend, no tourneys, just a little cash and won some money. Still running pretty good, definitely profitting which of course is the important thing, especially when you come home to a wife that says, "Hey I just bought a new bedroom suite for our guest room for $1300.00. sweet!

I was reading back in my blogs and told myself that I play worse when I have cash games and tournaments up at the same time and I should really just play one or the other. Monday night I played only cash games, 6 tabled some small stuff 1/2 and made like 300.00 in 3 hours or so which was nice. Tuesday night, the wife and I had some plans, so I just played a short session of (4) 33.00 turbo SNGs and (2) 55.00 turbo SNGs, I cashed 5 of 6 for a nice profit of 240.00 in about 45 minutes, then just shut her down because I didn't feel like playing anymore. I've gotten a lot better at not shutting it down when I feel close to tilt or walking away or playing bad or any other reason to donk off money. I really want to build my bankroll up to move up and I think concentrating on solely cash games will allow me to skyrocket it. I'm killing the 6 max games lately and it's really boosting my confidence that I can beat a bigger game.

UTG+1 checks, Dyzalot open shoves for like 7K into the 3400.00 pot. wtf?????

Dyzalot is a very aggro excellent tourney player.

Should I have repopped preflop? This hand really confused me and when i get confused I usually call and lose, but I thought about this for a while before I actually clicked one of the buttons.

Thoughts?

My results from yesterday weren't pretty - Stars Million - 215.00 - bluff off all the chips into AA (I had outs, but didn't hit obv.)
Bodog 100K 109.00 - didn't cash. Bodog 12K - 109.00 - 14th for like 180.00, Sunday Mulligan 216.00 - lost a big race early 99 vs. A10 and couldn't really recover. Spent 220.00 trying to satellite into the FT Million, but busted., 2 Stars 50Ks 50+5s, nothing. Just brutal. Cash games went okay though and I still showed a profit for the weekend, but spending like 1000.00 on donkaments and only cashing 180.00 REALLY sucks. I might just take 30 days off from tournaments to grind the cash tables. I think I'm really getting the hang of 6 max.

And the beats go on....

Deep in the Stars 50+5, like 1200 entrants down to 100, I get it all in with AA vs. QJcc on a Q 5c 7c 2 board and the Kc hits on the river of course. At least i got the money in good.

FT 55K last night, Build up to a nice 14K stack, raise AA, SB calls, flop 9 9 10, get it in and his has 99, gg me.

Nothing really much going on. Would love a big cash though. :(
