Another sucky majors weekend

Bodog 100K 109.00 900 entrants down to around 300. avg stack 7600.

150/300 w/25 ante

UTG+1(10K) opens to 800., Dyzalot(8400) calls from MP2, I(7900) call on the button w/99, blinds fold.

3400ish - FLOP 5s 3s 8c

UTG+1 checks, Dyzalot open shoves for like 7K into the 3400.00 pot. wtf?????

Dyzalot is a very aggro excellent tourney player.

Should I have repopped preflop? This hand really confused me and when i get confused I usually call and lose, but I thought about this for a while before I actually clicked one of the buttons.

Thoughts?

My results from yesterday weren't pretty - Stars Million - 215.00 - bluff off all the chips into AA (I had outs, but didn't hit obv.)
Bodog 100K 109.00 - didn't cash. Bodog 12K - 109.00 - 14th for like 180.00, Sunday Mulligan 216.00 - lost a big race early 99 vs. A10 and couldn't really recover. Spent 220.00 trying to satellite into the FT Million, but busted., 2 Stars 50Ks 50+5s, nothing. Just brutal. Cash games went okay though and I still showed a profit for the weekend, but spending like 1000.00 on donkaments and only cashing 180.00 REALLY sucks. I might just take 30 days off from tournaments to grind the cash tables. I think I'm really getting the hang of 6 max.
