So I quit playing 6 max and full ring and went back to my bread and butter HU. I don't know why the fuck I left HU. The players are so f-ing bad it's unbelieveable or maybe I'm just that good :oP I'm +9200 this week playing primarily HU with a few miniature tourney scores set in there. I went very deep in the Sunday Warm Up on Stars building up to 523K in chips, but lost a 900K pot when I raised AQ, the BB flatted and it came Q23 and we got it all in and of course he has 33 and I suck. boo. I also went deep in the 535.00 Million on Full Tilt, but lost AK to A9 in standard fashion. meh...
The released the Aruba Schedule for the end of September which I'm pretty excited about. There is a 2100.00 event that I might play plus I'm sure the cash game players are going to be awful.
In other news, the prop bets have been flying around like crazy lately. There's a arcade/bar/bowling alley place up the street from where we live where a bunch of local players like to get together for beers or bowling or air hockey or discussing hands or whatever else... well they have mini bowling where the alleys and pins are half the size and the bowling ball is about the size of a cantalope. We make bets on total score, strikes, spares, etc... it's pretty fun. Then we all go to someone's house and make more bets on bomberman or wii bowling.
Our newest bets were awesome last night though. Fisheye, KKeveryhand, TeamSchizz all came over my house yesterday to play the majors and after we all busted we decided to play some TEN CENT tourneys on Stars. They were all last longers between the 4 of us, BUT, you couldn't fold ever. You can call, raise or go all in, but you can never fold. So if someone ships it preflop, you have to call no matter what you have. Or if someone ships the river on you and you have 4 high, you have to call and show it lol. We were all laughing our asses off cracking jokes at the other players saying shit like, "damn I thought 6 high was good, i had to look you up!"
Anyway, it's good to be back on the winning side of things. Only like 30K more to go to get out of the downswing. lol :o)

back from vegas
ran okay, but had a ton of interesting hands that i'll post later on. I played the venetian 330.00 and 540.00 deep stacks tourneys, but didn't cash in either. In the 540.00 Robert Varkoni was to my left for like 4 hours and it was cool talking to him about poker and stuff.
I played a lot of 2/5 and 5/10NL. I got stacked in a bad hand at Bellagio when a fish opened for 40, another fish made it 120.00 and I made it 400.00 with JJ and called off the rest vs KK and QQ and didn't get there. lol so i reloaded 1K and built it into over 4K then 3 barrel bluffed a fish 150, 300, 700 on the river and he called with one pair :( and it was good. booo and ended the session even after 15 hours. so gay...
I also played the 5/10NL uncapped game at Venetian. Most stacks were around 1500 or so that's what i bought in for. I built it into 3K when I rivered the bottom straight vs. a rivered set that I should have shoved, but I pussied out and lost out on another 700 or so. boo. Kenna James sat and played the game for a bit donked off like 600, whined about how card dead he is and how his life sucks then left... I made a prop bet with my roommate that I could turn 300 into 1000.00 at 1/2NL the last night we were there within 4 hours. at 2.5 hours in I was at 860.00 but took the nastiest cooler I've taken in a while when I shoved AA on a K855A board and he phil hellmuthed me into the pot with quad 5s obv. lol
Everyone sucks at poker in vegas though. The quote of the trip was jason playing 2/5 uncapped at the Wynn when he shoved a 2353 board and the guy ships it so fast saying "top pair and nut flush draw, what you got?" and jason's like "all the 3s" lol my bro fell out of his chair laughing cause it was like 400-500 more that the guy just lit on fire.
oh well, will have more stories later... oh yeah, we connected through Washington Dullus on the way back to Florida and we made it, but our luggage is stuck in Washington. what a beat imo...

day of mincashes is gay
lost more money but did okay on tourneys I guess....i went deep in the sunday million on stars but AQ < AK for like 400K chips and finish like 250th or something dumb. I traded 10% with a friend, so I don't even get to keep it all. lol
I went deep in the Bodog 100K as well, but made a bad shove with middle pair into top 2 and finished 28th. shrug. Also mincashed the bodog 20K in 13th or something. JJ < 1010 in the FT 750K obv all in pre after the guy limp reraises all in when i raised from the BB. people are so bad at poker.
anyway, excited for vegas...

i've never run this bad for so long in my life
i've been playing poker for like 4 years now and I've been through 50K breakeven streaks or bad beats or 30-40 buyin downers before, but it's just ridiculous how awful I'm running. I feel like i'm playing well, but it doesn't matter how good the money goes in, the turn and/or river is going to fuck me. It's so frustrating because I'm doing this for a living now and I need to make money, but I'm just on this massive downer that is like 30K or I don't know how much. I decided to go back to my bread and butter HU and I 2 table this absolute monkey for 4 hours. He is so awful, but ran like jesus on water. i would grind him down then he'd shove some monkey draw and get there 100% of the time. yes i'm a whiny bitch right now...
I finally quit after this one.
