AFter 17 tourney cashless streak, I had 2 Final Tables on Friday, the 216.00 turbo and 26.00 13.5K Guar., but finished disappointing 8th and 9th.

Today I took down the 9K Guar. (prize pool was 12K+) 508 entrants - 1st place for $3048.00!!

Haven't played much lately. I'm on a 17 tourney cashless streak on Full Tilt which sucks, but the cash games are going decent. I took 500.00 off this guy in 40 minutes yesterday on Full Tilt playing 1/2NL heads up and took 700.00 off another guy on Absolute playing 3/6NL. He got pissed that we got it in preflop with my JJ vs. his QQ and I got lucky and hit a jack, so the next hand he reloads for 250.00 and I raise to 18.00 with QQ, he bumps to 60.00 and I shove and he calls with 10/2 and I hold, then he instaleaves. Pretty funny stuff. Hopefully I can get out of this tourney funk. Talked with a bunch of friends about various hands that I've busted on and got a few tips so hopefully I can turn it around this weekend.

heads up master - donkament loser

I played the AP 500+30, Full Tilt 163 and many many other donkaments and haven't cashed in any of them. I haven't even come close to the money. It's honestly embarrassing and disheartening because I don't feel I'm playing bad.

I won the 50.00 heads up tourney on AP, but there were only 10 people in it so it's really not that big of a deal. I'm still crushing the heads up cash games. I'm +4800.00 this month in heads up cash games on Full Tilt. Add that in with rakeback and it's been a pretty good month I think, but I haven't run the exact numbers yet. I know I sent 4000.00 to my truck payment and finished paying off my wife's school of 4300.00 something so that was pretty exciting. We went to the Tampa Bay Bucs game on Sunday. There were like 25 of us. Tailgating was fun grilling out and drinking many many beers. It was like 400 degrees outside, then it started raining about 3 minutes left until halftime, so we got soaked. The drive home was about 2 hours long and my passengers were all sleeping before we left the parking lot. Pretty funny stuff.

I guess that's about it. I'm crushing cash games and giving it all back donkament style...

Anyway, went bowling with the wife last night with her company and we were bored on our drive home, so we made a stop at DR's strip club and made a generous donation to the strippers. I guess that's pretty baller right?

Weekend Review

I got smoked Friday. It was brutal. I had AK all in preflop 6 times for 400.00 and lost all of them. twice to AA, once to KK, twice to QQ and once to something else. I was lucky to only be stuck 1200.00 on the day. Saturday the wife went out to run errands so I opened 2 tables of 1/2NL heads up and ran really well vs. really bad opponents. I won 14 buy ins! lol That's +2800.00. The players were really bad that were sitting with me. Usually when I look for a fish to play against, I look for smaller than full buy in stacks because it's as if they are playing with scared money. They'll buy in for like 112.48 or something weird like that. I played 4 or 5 tourneys this weekend, but didn't cash any of them. I had top 2 vs. bottom set twice and lost races in the AP 75K and FT 100K Mulligan as well as JJ < AK in the Bodog 100K. This rollercoaster has been pretty rough lately, but my heads up game is clearly my best and I'm going to grind that for a while I think to recover from some losses in the previous week. Back at it

Put in a decent session yesterday for about 4 hours or so. I played the turbo 215.00 on FT and the 109.00 on Bodog and bubbled the 109.00 and shoved QQ vs. A6 vs. KQ in the turbo 215.00 and guess what won? Flop 9 10 x x J obv. giving KQ the straight. Oh well, not my day for tourneys. I did well in cash games though ending +900.00 or so. The wife was playing some .10/.25 25.00 max buy in and she stacked 3 different people in an hour ending +75.00 for her. :o) I sit behind her and help her a bit, but she really gets excited over the 5.00 and 10.00 pots. It's really amusing to me but she is getting better! Hopefully we can make another Vegas trip soon.
