Winning, but feeling like a loser

I played 2 of the biggest idiots yesterday Heads Up and lost around 1300.00 to them yesterday. I couldn't flop a pair and all of my bluffs were getting called so light, it was like my cards were face up. I finally quit them and of course they talk shit and say "ship it" blah blah blah. Fortunately I was playing a juicy 3/6NL full ring game on Bodog with Evelyn Ng and I quickly built my 600.00 stack into 2500.00 before the game broke. Caught some nice hands and a guy shoved 500.00 into my KK with 33. That always helps. Also flopped a set of 9s against a guy who couldn't slow down with AA. Evelyn plays decent though. i wouldn't say great, but I saw her show down some shitty hands and chase some weird gutshots. She was on my left and had a 2200 stack going but we never bumped heads other than a small pot of 90.00 where I picked off her bluff and called with king high on an ace high flop. lol She and David Williams and "bodog pros", but I personally think David Williams sucks at cash games. Evelyn and I were chatting about it and I asked her what she thought of his cash game play and she said he was excellent?? wtf? I think he personally sucks because he calls call calls too much, but people do try to bluff him and he's almost unbluffable. I played with him at 3/6NL a few nights ago and took around 200.00 off him, but we didn't play any big pots. Evelyn said something interesting though, "well you have to understand that David doesn't take this too seriously" Well that's cool then, now everytime I see him at the tables, I'm going to sit with him and let him spew and call off monies to me. weeeeee. So anyway, I lost 1300 on Full Tilt, but won 1800 on Bodog, so net +500 but I still feel like I sucked it up, but I took 300 out of my rakeback account so hopefully that'll make me feel better about booking a 800.00 win. I do have to withdraw some though because of the wifey going a little overboard on presents this year for family, so I'll have some rebuilding to do come the new year. gl all.

Breaking Profit records for myself

I've really tried hard to put in a ton of hands this month and the results have been very positive. I've had a winning session I think 9 of the last 10 times I've sat which of course means profit! I'm +23K this month which is so sick! 8K of it comes from a tourney win, however the rest is mostly 2/4NL HU on Full Tilt and some 3/6NL full ring on Bodog. The bankroll is on its way up and hopefully I'll keep running and playing well and be rolled for 5/10NL in no time. Merry Christmas to all. Hopefully Santa brought you what you wanted.

I use to love playing the Turbo 20K on Full Tilt. It's 200+16 and it gets around 180 entrants and 1st pays between 9K-10K. So I felt like playing it yesterday and ran pretty good in it until we got to the final table. I was pretty short, but of course I lose to a 3 outer and don't hit my 15 outer redraw.

Oh well 9th for 770.00, when 1st was 9.2K. Did okay in cash games yesterday for a short time I put in. +like 500-600 or so. Still a +1K day which is nice. I withdrew some money from Full Tilt, so hopefully it gets in here in time so I can pay these massive credit card bills I have coming in for Christmas. That's about it. My bro won a 90 person 24+2 for 600 something yesterday and he sucks, so if he can win, anyone can.

Didn't play Friday as had to go to the wifey's work party. Got all pimped out in a suit which made me feel pretty baller. She had on a sexy cocktail dress. Good food, but cash bar which sucked. Wish it was free, but oh well. 6.00 beam & cokes add up after you have like 20 of them. I wasn't driving obviously :o) Her work gave out a bunch of sweet prizes like Flat screen TVs and gift cards for big $$, but we didn't win anything. Standard. Put in a few hands Saturday and won some cash, then put in a lot of hands yesterday and won some more. I know I was down 10K last month, but it's nice to be out of the hole as I'm +17.4K this month already. I withdrew some though to pay off some christmas shopping. Tournaments didn't go so well. Played the UB 100 and lost a big flip with 2 overs & a flush draw vs. a pair and later bustoed that account (didn't have much in it anyway + UB sucks) and lost a flip AQ vs. 99 for a big pot in the Bodog 30K that I won last week. I built up to 62K in the Bodog 100K, but ran bad late and finished 21st for like 600.00 or something small. I moved back up again playing HU as I'm trying to stay on the strict BR management program and it's going quite well. We're trying to plan a skiing trip for hopefully February out west. Just gotta convince the wifey it's really not that cold there and snow is great. I'll post a few hands later on.

ok, no more complaining - a 10K day!

Ok, so I told myself I was quitting tournaments forever, but then I added, except for Sundays, ldo (like duh obviously), so I started out around 11 am and sat in my recliner, laptop in my lap and went to work. The wifey went shopping, so it was nice and quiet in the house. I played some 1/2NL HU and won around 1800.00 right away stacking these monkeys like crazy. They were just giving their money to me. Then the Bodog 30K started at 1 p.m. Only 207 entrants so 9300.00 overlay! 6 hours later, SHIP IT - 1st place! $8250.00 woot! The 100K started at 4 p.m. and I built up over 100K chip stack there too, but ran bad late and finished 24th for like 600.00. Nice to be FINALLY unstuck for Nov/Dec now! Feels GREAT!!!! Hey, I made over 10K yesterday! :oD

poker is such a joke sometimes and I really hate when people think they are so awesome, but they are actually in fact really bad and are put in God mode hitting sets and flushes and straights. I started the weekend out nicely booking a 1500.00 win Saturday, but Sunday morning I was playing this fish who loves to shove draws and get his money in super bad like 30/70, etc... I mean, it's a good strategy when you're playing against someone on scared money because you create a ton of fold equity against those weak opponents, but it's a horrible strategy when you play against someone like me who is never scared to put the chips in the middle. Well, after hitting probably 3 30/70s in a row, I quit him as you can't play well against opponents like that, especially when they start smack talking you to put you on tilt thinking they are so damn awesome, but really they are running God mode and sucking out all over the place. Then I took 3 coolers back to back for 400 each. 78 on a 785 board and he has 55. 79 and the board is 810J and he has Q9, wtf? 64 and the board is 357 and he has 68. cmon now. I ended up dropping around 2300.00 back after my 1500.00 up so of course I end the weekend down during this wonderful Christmas season that is approaching. I haven't played a tourney in a few weeks, so maybe I'll try that avenue again. 41 straight non-cashes on Full tilt for over 4K in buyins, maybe I'm due....

looking inside the stats

I looked up some of my stats on official poker rankings and was pretty disgusted at what I saw. Other than 2 satellites into bigger tourneys, I haven't cashed in a tourney on Full Tilt in 41 tournaments. That's pretty sick. It's over 4000.00 in entry fees too! Not only that, but the stress you go through playing stupid ass lucksack tournaments makes you want to throw shit and break stuff, definitely not soothing for the soul to say the least, so I've given them up (except for Sundays) lol I lost a lot Friday and actually was just sick of playing all together. My wife played a 5.00 horse tourney that started at 1:00 am. lol I was helping her a lot which was fun bonding time. I'm trying to get better at all the games. I suck at stud, but can hold my own at Razz and Omaha HI and H/L. We ended up taking a few beats and bubbled out but it was still pretty fun. She also played a 10.00 tourney and got it in with AA vs. QQ and obv Q ball on the river. She was little mad and I think it helps her understand when I yell to myself after a bad beat like that (except mine are for hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars). I played a lot of heads up yesterday to rebuild my bankroll that's been hurting and ended +4400.00 on FT Saturday/Sunday! I ran pretty well and played some big donkeys which helped too :o) Add that with some rakeback and it was a good much needed boost to the roll I need to rebuild. I guess that's all for now. Going out of town for 4 days for thanksgiving. Not sure if I can leave home without the laptop though. :oP

Rebuilding

After the worst downswing of my life, losing around 12K in a week, I didn't even want to sit down at the computer to play. I lose a chunk of my bankroll and was really disappointed with myself. I played some 6 max which I'm not very good at (and run very bad at) after I promised myself I would never play it again. I'm more than +20K over the past 2 months at heads up poker, yet dump it at 6 max or donkaments which is certainly not good money management. I've got a new attitude though and dropped down in stakes to rebuild the lost money though and seen some pretty good results over the past 4 days. I've gotten about $4200.00 of it back which is nice, but there's still a long way to go! I played my first tournament in a while and finished 16th in the Nightly UB 120+9. It's a cool set up. 100.00 goes to the prize pool and 9.00 goes to the house and then 20.00 on your head. You get knocked out and the person who knocks you out gets your bounty of 20 bucks. I knocked out 4 or 5 people so I got 100 bucks for that and finished 16th for another 220.00 or so. 1st was 7150.00 though. Just couldn't get lucky at the end.

Downswings suck

Short Update

Mainly because I don't like posting about losses. I was down 3400.00 the first few days of the week which sucked big time. I didn't even want to play so I took Tuesday off to cool off. I put in a short omaha session yesterday and ended +525.00 which was nice. Still a ways to go to rebuild the roll I lost the first part of the week, but my spirits are high. :o)

We had a total of 8 trick or treaters last night. I gave them like 20 pieces each lol

Weekend ends with some tilt

I was about +4K on the weekend just grinding the cash games, mostly heads up play with some 6 max kicked in, totally rocking them, but moved up to 3/6NL and dropped like 2600.00 in what felt like 10 minutes. I got it in on a A 10 8s 7s board with 87 vs. QJs and he hit a king on the river to stack me. Got the money in good which is all I can ask for and he check raised the flop too!! idiot. I had 10s vs. his Ks all in pre the next hand which totally put me on monkey tilt before I quit the session. So frustrated to put in the hours and hands to be up so much, just to give a lot of it back in like 15 minutes. :o(

Sports Betting

Been going no where with all this money I'm dumping into tournaments for nothing. Got stacked 3 times in about 10 minutes yesterday playing 6 max, but then grinded it back and quit the session. All the sportsbetters said Jacksonville was a lock last night at +3.5. F the haters because you can't go wrong betting with the COLTS.

Haven't been playing much...

Haven't been playing much lately. Went camping this past weekend and did some fishing. It was pretty fun and we caught a few black drum and snapper and such. Built and big ass fire and had smores and stuff just like back in the boy scout days. lol Camped out in a tent with the wife on an aero bed (no aero love though booo). I 4 tabled the same guy at some heads up tables and ended +$1600.00 on him. I'm real happy about that because he took me a for a few hundred last time we played multiple tables. I had 3 and 4 buy in stacks before he said "gg, I can't beat you today" and quit me. Well, he can't beat me ANY day, so ship it!

Wife on Tilt! LOL

My wife tilted last night and dropped 3 buys at .10/.25NL LOL
so I own some bitches at 2/4NL for for 500.00 then I see this fish at 3/6NL heads up with 240.00, so I sit down and he runs like Jesus against me (hitting everything, walkin' on water) and builds up to 880.00 vs. me so then I grind him down to 520.00 and then he leaves me. I guess I made maybe 200 bucks in a short time I played. Made a withdrawal to pay some stuff off. (wife bought a new entertainment center wtf?) I bought her Rod Stewart's greatest hits - oh yeah, ship it Rod. lol

Other than that, I think I'm going to sue the builder of our house. We've had this lingering problem for almost 10 months now and they still haven't fixed it. :o(

Haven't played much lately. I'm on a 17 tourney cashless streak on Full Tilt which sucks, but the cash games are going decent. I took 500.00 off this guy in 40 minutes yesterday on Full Tilt playing 1/2NL heads up and took 700.00 off another guy on Absolute playing 3/6NL. He got pissed that we got it in preflop with my JJ vs. his QQ and I got lucky and hit a jack, so the next hand he reloads for 250.00 and I raise to 18.00 with QQ, he bumps to 60.00 and I shove and he calls with 10/2 and I hold, then he instaleaves. Pretty funny stuff. Hopefully I can get out of this tourney funk. Talked with a bunch of friends about various hands that I've busted on and got a few tips so hopefully I can turn it around this weekend.

heads up master - donkament loser

I played the AP 500+30, Full Tilt 163 and many many other donkaments and haven't cashed in any of them. I haven't even come close to the money. It's honestly embarrassing and disheartening because I don't feel I'm playing bad.

I won the 50.00 heads up tourney on AP, but there were only 10 people in it so it's really not that big of a deal. I'm still crushing the heads up cash games. I'm +4800.00 this month in heads up cash games on Full Tilt. Add that in with rakeback and it's been a pretty good month I think, but I haven't run the exact numbers yet. I know I sent 4000.00 to my truck payment and finished paying off my wife's school of 4300.00 something so that was pretty exciting. We went to the Tampa Bay Bucs game on Sunday. There were like 25 of us. Tailgating was fun grilling out and drinking many many beers. It was like 400 degrees outside, then it started raining about 3 minutes left until halftime, so we got soaked. The drive home was about 2 hours long and my passengers were all sleeping before we left the parking lot. Pretty funny stuff.

I guess that's about it. I'm crushing cash games and giving it all back donkament style...

Weekend Review

I got smoked Friday. It was brutal. I had AK all in preflop 6 times for 400.00 and lost all of them. twice to AA, once to KK, twice to QQ and once to something else. I was lucky to only be stuck 1200.00 on the day. Saturday the wife went out to run errands so I opened 2 tables of 1/2NL heads up and ran really well vs. really bad opponents. I won 14 buy ins! lol That's +2800.00. The players were really bad that were sitting with me. Usually when I look for a fish to play against, I look for smaller than full buy in stacks because it's as if they are playing with scared money. They'll buy in for like 112.48 or something weird like that. I played 4 or 5 tourneys this weekend, but didn't cash any of them. I had top 2 vs. bottom set twice and lost races in the AP 75K and FT 100K Mulligan as well as JJ < AK in the Bodog 100K. This rollercoaster has been pretty rough lately, but my heads up game is clearly my best and I'm going to grind that for a while I think to recover from some losses in the previous week. Back at it

Put in a decent session yesterday for about 4 hours or so. I played the turbo 215.00 on FT and the 109.00 on Bodog and bubbled the 109.00 and shoved QQ vs. A6 vs. KQ in the turbo 215.00 and guess what won? Flop 9 10 x x J obv. giving KQ the straight. Oh well, not my day for tourneys. I did well in cash games though ending +900.00 or so. The wife was playing some .10/.25 25.00 max buy in and she stacked 3 different people in an hour ending +75.00 for her. :o) I sit behind her and help her a bit, but she really gets excited over the 5.00 and 10.00 pots. It's really amusing to me but she is getting better! Hopefully we can make another Vegas trip soon.

Went deep in the Bodog 100K, but ran AJ into JJ and didn't suck out and finished 23rd. The guy eisenhower who beat me heads up in this last month won it again for 25K. What a sicko! Total for the weekend was like breakeven I think. I've been real frustrated with this even stretch so I took some money offline to make myself feel better. Football is back though and I hit my first parlay bet of the year, so ship that. If Cincy wins tonight then I win our weekly pool as well.

Donkey ass SNGs

Played a few 55.00 turbos and 110.00 turbos last night - maybe like 15 or 20 of them and got a bunch of 2nds cause I'm a loser but still profited around 600.00 or so. After being stuck 7600.00 this past week (some tilty 5/10NL shots booo), I've gotten around 4800.00 of it back which is pretty cool and then rakeback gets paid early next week which is around 870.00 or so I think, so then I'll only be stuck 2000.00 from the original 7600.00 for the week after having a monster month last month. That was a pretty sweet run on sentence. lol

Blew it late again - i suck at poker

Played a bunch of tourneys yesterday to help pass the day and went deep in the Full Tilt 109.00 35K Guar. Labor Day special. It drew 631 entrants which meant the top 63 got paid. With 23 left, I was dead last in chips lol. But a few double ups and a stop and go and I was chip leader with 12 to go. I had over 300K in chips (you start with 3000) and the nearest guy had 200K. I ran a gross bluff that didn't work vs. the best player at the table and went card dead at the final table and finished 5th for $4100.00. Pretty disappointing when 1st was over 15K, but I'm pretty happy with the way I played, just couldn't get anything together at the final table.

Won the 100.00 tourney on AP. only 57 entrants, but won a bit over $1500.00

bustoed my stars account and deleted it from my machine. fuck that rigged ass site. They gave me a few beautys goodbye though!

Another rant about rankings & a few hands

Tmay420 who use to be the #1 online ranked player in the world ends up at my table and we are both the big stacks in the early goings of a tournament. So I raise AK to 775 and he 3 bets me to 2150. We both are like 14K deep, so I elect to just call in position. Flop comes down 10 10 6 or something raggy, he bets 2100 and I elect to just call to see if I can get to showdown cheap. turn 7 check check, river 2 which is a total brick and now he bets 6000???? I really though I was good here with Ace King high, so I called and he had K10????? Nice luckbox flop. So I blew a huge stack of chips on a hand I should have just 4 bet him all in preflop. I was chip leader in the 55K on FT for the first 2 hours of the tournament and ended up bubbling AK vs. KK obv. Thanks for that awesome set up hand. Cash games were pretty dumb. Couldn't get anything together. I played some 5/10 on stars and this was the biggest hand of the night:

Pocketfives.com rankings are a joke

ranked players on pocketfives are so sorry. the only reason they are ranked is the shear volume they put in. If I played 30 tournaments a day, I'd have good results too with huge scores, but I have a life! they may have 500K in winnings, but they have just as much as that in tourney buy ins so some aren't even winning players at all!!!!!!

It was the wife's dad's b-day, so we went to Pat O Briens at city walk & city jazz bar. Almost back, then crushed again

Got like 2K back over the past few days, but simply got crushed yesterday due to bad play and bad running. I moved up a level and been 10 tabling Full Ring for the past few days. Tournaments are going really bad and I feel like I'm just throwing money away. I bubbled both the 25K on Stars and 12K on Bodog yesterday and was 2 outed in the FT 55.00 buy in. AJ vs. A2 on Axx flop turn 2 obv. Ran well in cash games though and then just got killed yesterday dropping like 8 buy ins before getting a few back closing the session earlier than expected. Whenever I post graphs for friends to see how much I'm bankin', i got on a downswing. Gotta stop doing that!! Cheers to a winning weekend hopefully! :o)

A good turnaround!

Wednesday night was just bad. I dropped $1500.00, just losing over and over again on the river and lost a $1200.00 pot KK vs. KK vs. AA obv. I told myself I won't play 6 max anymore and Full Ring is def. where it's at. I played my friend Paul a friendly heads up match at .50/1 lol He bought in for 40.00 and ran it up to $150.00 or so, but then I won it all back lol. Good match Killerwalski! your game is really coming around bro! Anyway, I was pretty upset losing $1500.00 on Wednesday, so I grinded last night and ran SUPER hot and ended up winning a little over $1500.00 in just 3 hours! up 8 buy ins. Hands like these certainly help!

ewwwww BAD

I don't think I was pushed 1 pot on bodog yesterday. it was sick running 3 tables of 2/4NL and not getting pushed a pot and stacking off 4, yep 4 times. I stacked off twice with overpairs vs. sets, a flush all in vs. 2 pair, boat on river obv. and the hand of the day was my KK, vs KK, vs obv AA fora 1400.00+ pot. meh. Just wasn't my day. On top of that I was 6 tabling 6 max on Full Tilt and dropped another 4-5 buy ins there losing to the worst shit in history.

I actually had a chance to review my pokertracker stats over the past few months. Over 81K hands on Full Tilt, I've been winning 6.1BB/100 at Full Ring and 1.2BB/100 at 6 max yet I have over 4 times as many 6 max hands in my database. WTF am I doing still playing that crappy 6 max???? goodbye 6 max, k thx.

Full Ring from here on out + I can play more tables and hopefully win more money. Didn't play any tournaments yesterday, but managed to lose 1500.00 in about 2 hours. I thought people went to work to make money not give it away. oh well.

Up and Down Session

Put in a 4 hour session or so last night. Started at 7 p.m. with the 109 on Bodog, 109 on Stars, 75 on FT and fired up 2 tables of 2/4NL on the Dog and 2 tables of 2/4NL on FT, so 3 tourneys and 4 cash games. I was doing well in all 3, chipped up to over 10K in each of them (starting stack 3K) but lost a big all in AA vs. 1010, river 10 obv. in the Bodog 109 and bluffed into top top to bubble out. I went broke in the FT 75.00 blind vs. blind where he slowplayed bottom set vs. my top and bottom pairs, which is just unfortunate. I think it was Doyle that said never go broke blind vs. blind and I did which sucks because at the time, we had over 40 BBs each to start the hand. The Stars 109 was going well, up to about 17K-18K when i started raising to steal, hands like A9 and A10 and everytime someone would shove over the top and I was forced to fold. It paid to 45 and I finished 54th. I played bad on the bubble though and deserved to lose. No sense raising if I don't plan on calling a shove. The cash games went well though. I was +400.00 on FT in cash games and on Bodog was running well until I played this big pot here:

Been at table for about 20 minutes, doubled up w/a set vs. an overpair. Villian seems pretty ABC and hasn't shown down much.

I didn't really know what to do. I have the nuts right now and he c/red me. I've talked with some people after the hand and they said make it 300.00, but in the actual hand I shoved and he tanked and called with Qs10s, the best drawing hand I could be up against. I think I'm still 65/35 here, but the 8s came on the turn and I didn't fill on the river shipping him the $1650.00 pot. I got the money in good and that's all I can ask for. I grinded some back, but that really brought my spirits down so I just called it a night and went to sleep ending a little down on the night, but not much. I'm happy with my play, so I guess that's all that matters. That's the difference between an even session and a +1650.00 session though....Until next time! Happy Shippings

Best month of my life so far + new toys :o)

I'm playing great and the results are awesome. Running good and running bad is such a world of difference. Even though I told myself I wasn't going to do it, I put some money back on Stars and final tabled the Daily 50K 1078 people. I finished 9th, but still felt great about my play and only got the money in bad one time. I finished 17th of 411 in the 109.00 also for a few more bucks profit and took down the Bodog 12K for 3600.00 as well. I played 5 tourneys over 100.00 buy in and cashed them all. Was pretty sweet run and bankroll booster. This is of course on top of the sick 14K cash I had last weekend. I was hoping to run back to that final table, but it wasn't meant to be as I ran QQ into AA and AK in the 2nd hour. Flop was QKJ, but running diamonds sent my chips to the AA. Oh well. The Stars 215.00 Million was a joke. Got it in with 99 on a 987 flop, vs. 10 5off WTF!! and obv Stars bails him out. 322.00 mil on Full Tilt, JJ < 6/9s obv after he calls my 3 bet preflop. Ridiculous. Basically busted out of 800.00 worth of tourneys within 1 hour. Pretty gross. I played some 2/4NL on Bodog and crushed it pretty good. First time I played 2/4 on Bodog since my horrible downswing on there months ago. I bought a new poker book Professional No Limit from twoplustwo.com It has some good concepts on shorthanded which I really need to improve on.

I'm up 21.7K this month which is so sick after being stuck around 4.5K last month. This game is so swingy!! My wife and I went and saw Bourne Ultimatum yesterday afternoon. Man, the movies are a rip off these days. I'm certainly not cheap, but c'mon a soda and some nachos are $10.50??? Movie was pretty good though. I def. recommend seeing it. We also got our guest room finished finally with curtains/cable and a new bedroom suite. Also stopped by Best Buy to check out some flat screens for our bedroom. We have this little dinky 19" TV in there sitting dresser. She wanted a small flatscreen to possibly hang on the wall, so of course we (well me) rings up the 40" Flatty. lol Ship the TV. We had a $500.00 gift card from our wedding left over so it really wasn't too bad on the wallet. Well, that's about it. Hope the success continues so we can buy more awesome toys.

FTOPS and the 55K

FTOPS is Full Tilt Online Poker Series which is a group of tournaments that Full Tilt puts on for like 2 weeks that have HUGE prize pools. Last night was Event 1 - 200+16 500K Guaranteed hosted by Phil Gordon. It had 4165 entrants making the prize pool 833K. jeez. I busted in the 2nd hour somewhere though after getting pushed only 1 small pot and this monkey calling my river all in bluff with 2nd pair. I was running well in the Bodog 40K 200+15 but bubbled when I turned 2 pair vs. a flopped flush. Obv his A4 > A9. meh. f that. I busted the 55K as well, so basically I spent 594.00 in tournaments and didn't cash any of them. I made up a little bit of the difference in some small cash games I was playing on the side, but it still sucks to blank out. On a better note, my friend Barry took down the 55k for $18,037!!!! NICE. We have this competition going who can get the biggest cash. First it was me 11.4K, then he won a 12K package deal, then I won 14K and now he trumped me with 18K+!!!!! Awesome man!! Now ship me the money you owe me. lol

Sundays I usually spend around 1K on tourneys and yesterday was no different. It starts with the 109.00 on Bodog 50K where I finished 17th for $480.00 - lost a big flip late and that was all she wrote. The Bodog 100K starts at 4 p.m. and I lost almost half my stack in the 3rd hand of the tourney JJ vs. AK when a king hit on the river vs. this chaser donk calling pot sized bets the whole way. I busted the 500K on Full Tilt pretty quickly making a bad bad call with 1010 on a 884 flop when the guy c/red me all in on the flop and of course he has 8/9off. bleh.

Anyway, back to the good part, I was cruising along nicely in the Bodog 100K which had 926 entrants this week. Top 81 pay. With 83 left, the avg stack was like 24K, I had 41K and it folded around to me and I raised to 4K with AcKc from the button and the BB (40K) shoved all in!!!!! WTF! Race for your life on the bubble. I called and he had QQ and I won the flip with a king on the flop and now had 3x the average stack. I cruised along, chipped up to about 150K, won another flip JJ vs. AK up tp 250K and then we were at the FINAL TABLE. The final 9.

A few more people busted and I sort of just stayed out of the way and tried to take a blind or two to stay afloat. Then we got 3 handed and I had 340K and the other guys had like 1.1mil each. Then one of the guys bluffed all his chips to the other guy and we were heads up! I doubled through him and got to 700K vs. his 1.5 mil, but that's as close as I would get. The final hand was my QK vs. his AJ and I didn't improve.

I finished 2nd for $14,000.00

Some worked but most did not because people just never fold when they should. oh well.

Good news & a big bluff

Just read that the government finally came to terms with neteller and they will be returning all of the US citizen funds that were seized during investigation of money laundering, etc...and payments are to be issued beginning 7/30/07!! I have some friends that have >$10K in there. I only have 3K stuck in there since January, but it'll be great to get this money that I almost just wrote off! WOOT! Had a weird session last night. Was 7 tabling some lower stakes and doing pretty good then some buddies wanted to donk it up in a 6 max game 100NL so I bluffed off a stack to Lyrikz who never folds. You just can't bluff people who won't fold!!! However, you can bluff better players are actually can lay down a hand. Here's to a monster weekend. cheers.

Got home around 5:30 or so and helped the wife paint our guest room. Had some downtime and fired up 7 tables and made 800.00 in about 2 hours. Monday night I played only cash games, 6 tabled some small stuff 1/2 and made like 300.00 in 3 hours or so which was nice. Tuesday night, the wife and I had some plans, so I just played a short session of (4) 33.00 turbo SNGs and (2) 55.00 turbo SNGs, I cashed 5 of 6 for a nice profit of 240.00 in about 45 minutes, then just shut her down because I didn't feel like playing anymore. I've gotten a lot better at not shutting it down when I feel close to tilt or walking away or playing bad or any other reason to donk off money. I really want to build my bankroll up to move up and I think concentrating on solely cash games will allow me to skyrocket it. I'm killing the 6 max games lately and it's really boosting my confidence that I can beat a bigger game.

UTG+1 checks, Dyzalot open shoves for like 7K into the 3400.00 pot. wtf?????

Dyzalot is a very aggro excellent tourney player.

Should I have repopped preflop? This hand really confused me and when i get confused I usually call and lose, but I thought about this for a while before I actually clicked one of the buttons.

My results from yesterday weren't pretty - Stars Million - 215.00 - bluff off all the chips into AA (I had outs, but didn't hit obv.)
Bodog 100K 109.00 - didn't cash. Bodog 12K - 109.00 - 14th for like 180.00, Sunday Mulligan 216.00 - lost a big race early 99 vs. A10 and couldn't really recover. Spent 220.00 trying to satellite into the FT Million, but busted., 2 Stars 50Ks 50+5s, nothing. Just brutal. Cash games went okay though and I still showed a profit for the weekend, but spending like 1000.00 on donkaments and only cashing 180.00 REALLY sucks. I might just take 30 days off from tournaments to grind the cash tables. I think I'm really getting the hang of 6 max.

Deep in the Stars 50+5, like 1200 entrants down to 100, I get it all in with AA vs. QJcc on a Q 5c 7c 2 board and the Kc hits on the river of course. At least i got the money in good.

FT 55K last night, Build up to a nice 14K stack, raise AA, SB calls, flop 9 9 10, get it in and his has 99, gg me.

Nothing really much going on. Would love a big cash though. :(
